There will be a band parent meeting on the 28th of April. This is the first Try it Out practice. All remaining band members are to be at the practice to get ready for parade season, and to learn new music for this coming year. meeting time is 8pm unless otherwise specified.

All Seniors be a the High school at 11:30 on Sunday August 16th for program picture with football team and cheerleaders. More info to follow.

Renee Greer is looking for help washing uniforms this Thursday at practice. 4 or 5 volunteers needed total. Please email her, if you are able. rgreer@westasd.org.

There will be a booster meeting at 8pm during our first try it out night. Informational meeting for new parents as well as some old business and trip year info.

This years ISA will be $160 with no additional costs or donations for the year.  With Payments split as such.

Also due  will be a deposit to hold a spot on the Disney Trip.  $100 

There will be a booster meeting on March 11 at 7pm.  We will be discussing officer elections, the upcoming parade season as well as band camp.  Next year is a trip year so some details will need to be discussed on this subject as well.

A few important items:

There will NOT be a band Parent meeting tomrrow evening. You will receive an email or text message for future meeting dates.

Band Camp dates- it is looking like we may be able to move camp back one week, which would make it the weeks of 8/3  and 8/10. If there is a major conflict, please contact TJ immediately.
 
There is a new state law which requiires clearances to be updated. As we learn more information, it will be passed along. If it has been a few years since you obtained yours, it might be a good idea to get a jump start on renewing them. You can find the links on our Chaperones page. 


2016 Is a TRIP year! In may or June of this year 2015 a deposit of (most likely $100) will need to be paid to hold your child spot on the bus. It might seem like far away but it will be here before you know it !  Start fundraising now! Hoagie dates are on the calendar and scrip is always a quick and easy way to raise $$$.  

Banquet Forms are located on the Documents page, and also in the band room.  Please fill out and return by October 31.

 A few reminders.
- West A Band is in the running for Band of the Week on WPXI. You must go to their facebook page to vote, and you may do so several times and hour.  
- Parent meeting on October 8th at 8pm.  We will be finalizing calvalcade items. 
- Please be sure to get your $15.00 in by Sept. 30th. We will being purchasing items for concessions and candy grams. Also please sign up to volunteer!!
